Hazard Detection

The hazard detection system is an extension to the access control module, whose main focus is exterior shell protection. The LSN (Local Security Network) technology that is employed allows break-in and disruption detectors to be freely combined and standard detectors to be integrated via LSN couplers. The detectors are identified, initialized and controlled via the software.

What happens, when an Alarm occurs?
Parameters are set in MTZ Access that defines which actions are carried out for which alarms. These actions range from simple monitor messages through to the automatic notification of the responsible security company. If the security company is on site, security personnel can call up the location of the disruption directly on the terminal, e.g., ‘break-in, development department, window 3’. This shortens response times and ensures that events are processed quickly and effectively. The entire system or individual zones can be armed or disarmed via terminals or via access readers that have a PIN code keypad.

Additional Security with Video Surveillance
Interfaces to management systems are integrated and can be configured. Additional modules such as video surveillance, visitor management or car park management modules can extend the software and hardware.
